
Davide Riva (b. 1989) is an italian composer.
He graduated in composition at G.Verdi Conservatory in Como where he was a pupil of M° Carlo
Ballarini and M° Antonio Eros Negri.
After the degree, he continued studying with Luis Bacalov at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and then he attended the high musical composition course at the "Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna" with M° Azio Corghi and M° Mauro Bonifacio.
In addition to classical studies, he learned songwriting techniques at CET, the Academy founded by Giulio Rapetti (known as Mogol).
Davide has been awarded in National Choral Composition Competition "L'Italia s'è desta" (2012), National Choral Composition Competition "Accademia Corale Veneta" (2012) and International Choral Competition "Virgo Vox"(2019).
He has composed music for choirs, orchestras, chamber ensembles, dance shows and since 2015 he has been teaching music theory and harmony at the Municipal School of Music "Antonio Guarnieri" in Casatenovo in northern Italy.
